Service Description

In the cosy and beautiful Crafty Happenings Store, this evening session will allow you to: - Develop simple motifs for block printing - Cut your motifs from soft stamping vinyl -print and fold your decs, ready to hang at home or give as gifts. Our designs for this workshop will be based on decorative Christmas imagery. Think snowflake patterns, Christmas plants such as holly, ivy, mistletoe and other berries, Christmas trees, baubles and stars. There will be some a variety of different decoration shapes to choose from, and a range of different coloured inks and cards, to make your design completely unique Our course runs from 6.30 to 9 pm and is suitable for 16 + This workshop is aimed at beginners and those with some previous experience. The cost of the course includes all materials. Places are limited to 7 participants to ensure that all members have plenty of 1:1 tuition and guidance on the day. You will be with a very experienced Tutor - I spent 17 years teaching Art and Design in FE colleges. Tea and coffee, will be available throughout the workshop. There will also be biscuits and possible a mince pie or two! Please stipulate if you have any dietary requirements when booking. We will be using printing inks which may stain clothing. Please wear old clothes and bring an apron! There is free on road parking in and around Windsor Avenue close to Crafty Happenings.
