I'm Sue. I'm an illustrator, linocut printmaker, and pattern designer. I'm based in Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands, where I also teach workshops in lino printing. ​

 

After graduating with a degree in Carpet and Interior Textiles design, I spent nearly 20 years teaching A level Art and Textiles Design in college, before launching my own design business.

From my childhood growing up in the Derbyshire Dales, to the present day, I've always been inspired by plants, gardens, and wildflowers. I always work seasonally, and all my designs start life as drawings before becoming lino prints and eventually pattern designs or illustrations for products.  

 

I produce my own luxury short-run seasonal stationery products, as well a licensing designs to companies to use on their products. I can also happily work to commission - if you have a project in mind and think my work might be a good fit, just drop me a line - I'd love to collaborate!
