I'm Sue. I'm a linocut printmaker, and pattern designer, based in Wolverhampton, where I also teach workshops in lino printing. ​I especially love teaching beginners, who are looking to reconnect with their own creativity. Seeing the joy people experience when peeling back their first ever print is just a delight! 

 

I have a degree in Carpet Design, (yes, really!) and enjoyed nearly 20 years teaching A level Art and Textiles Design in colleges, before starting my own creative business from my home studio.

From my childhood growing up in the Derbyshire Dales, to the present day, I've always been inspired by plants, gardens, and wildflowers. I create new work seasonally, with the aim of providing little glimpses of nature you can enjoy, even when you're stuck indoors. All of my designs start life as original drawings before becoming lino prints and eventually pattern designs for stationery, gifts and greetings.  

 

I produce my own luxury short-run stationery products, as well as providing licensing designs for companies who are looking for stylised, hand crafted botanical designs for their own products.  I'm happy to work to commission - if you have a project in mind and think my work might be a good fit, just drop me a line - I'd love to collaborate!
